ŻÓŁĆ is an electronic music ensemble known for their improvisational performances and exuberant live shows. Based in Wrocław, Poland the band was formed in 2014 by Łukasz Orłowski, Kamil Kawalec and Łukasz Rataj and later joined by Maurycy Wiliczkiewicz.
With many years of experience playing together, ŻÓŁĆ has developed a unique sound that applies improvisation to electronic music. Their style is characterized by the sound of analog synthesizers, drum machines and techno aesthetics. ŻÓŁĆ is renowned for their electrifying live performances. In 2022 they initiated, performed and curated WRZENIE, an electronic music event bringing together experimental and electronic music performers from across Poland. They have played at multiple raves and art festivals including WROsound music festival, they were also included in Sofar Sounds event in 2018. ŻÓŁĆ also performs frequently on non-music specific events as art exhibitions, weaving their sound into the fabric of contemporary art.
